7 KEI workers electrocuted to death

The Barra Police On Wednesday, October 9th 2024 received a report of an incident at Kerr Gallo involving seven worker from KEI construction company who have believe to died from an electric shock, while working on or erecting an electric pole.



The police are currently investigating to ascertain the circumstances leading to this tragic event.

Journalists trained on conflict sensitive reporting of TRRC Implementation reports

  The Gambia Press Union (GPU) in partnership with the International Idea through the support from the European Union (EU) on Tuesday concluded a two day comprehensive training for Press Editors' and Journalists on conflict sensitive media coverage of the Implementation of The Government's White Paper on the TRRC Recommendations.
