UN Deputy Chief Visits Banjul

 Amina J. Mohammed, the Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations (UN) on Monday met President Adama Barrow and senior government officials at State House. 



They discussed range of issues key among which is the sustainable development priorities, peace consolidation and to accelerate the social development goals (SDGʼs).




 H. E. Amina J. Mohammed also visited the UN house to assess the ongoing works that will enhance operational effectiveness and foster greater collaboration.“We are committed to serving people & communities, reinforcing the spirit of UN and integrated action.” she said. 




As part of her engagement with stakeholders she also visited the Bakoteh production and innovation centre under the Kanifing Municipal Council.
