Police to intensify patrol in KM, amid rising crime rate

The Gambia Police Force (GPF), as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance security nationwide, today held a high-level meeting with the Kanifing Municipality Police Command at the Police Headquarters in Banjul to strengthen patrols and increase police visibility across the Metropolitan areas.
AIG Pateh Jallow, Head of Police Operations, speaking on behalf of the Inspector General of Police Seedy M. Touray, addressed rising crime rates and emphasized urgent action to improve security.
He reaffirmed the GPF’s capacity and readiness to tackle these challenges, urging officers to work as a team and remain committed to the patrols as a key crime prevention measure.
The meeting focused on enhancing security operations and improving policing efforts within Kanifing Municipality and beyond.
