In a stunning and dramatic decision, the Appeal Jury of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has stripped Senegal of their Africa Cup of Nations title and awarded the trophy to Morocco.
The ruling, delivered under Article 84 of the Rules of the Africa Cup of Nations, declared the Senegal national team “free” in the final of the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025. The result has now been homologated as a 3–0 victory in favour of the Fédération Royale Marocaine de Football (FRMF).
